I-35 Enchancement

The $124.2 million work from Rundberg Lane to U.S. 290 East includes flyovers, entrance/exit lanes, reconfigured ramps and more.
AUSTIN, TX — A groundbreaking this week launched a major renovation project along Interstate 35 valued at more than $124 million.
Local and state dignitaries were on hand Wednesday to turn over dirt on the construction project along I-35 from Rundberg Lane to U.S. 290 East that includes adding three new flyovers at the I-35/US 183 interchange, improving the existing northbound I-35 to northbound US 183 flyover and reconstructing the St. Johns Avenue bridge.

SH 130 Expansion

Texas Transportation Commission’s $36.7 million contract award is aimed at relieving congestion and enhancing safety.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — City officials on Thursday were in celebration mode after the Texas Transportation Commission awarded a contract for expansion of SH 130.
On Thursday, April 26, the commission awarded the contract following a March 27 resolution urging the agency to act in reinstating the project while expressing support for regional transportation improvements aimed at enhancing safety and alleviate congestion.
